Rivers of lava pour down slopes as La Palma volcano eruption continues – Spain

The volcano Cumbre Vieja could be seen pouring forth lava on the Canary Island of La Palma on Monday as it continued erupting.
Lava could be seen spewing from the volcano and rivers of lava pouring down from the eruption site.
Thousands of local residents have been evacuated by authorities, while hundreds of homes have been destroyed.
Clouds of volcanic ash have reportedly reached heights of approximately 3,000 metres (10,000 feet) according to the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC).
