Aerial footage captures aftermath of deadly wildfire in Butte County, California

Aerial footage filmed from a California Army National Guard UH-60M Black Hawk on Thursday shows the aftermath of California’s deadliest wildfire on record, in Butte County, California.

According to the authorities, the wildfire has so far claimed the lives of at least 63 people statewide, with the number of people missing or unaccounted for having soared to 631.

The fire has razed nearly 12,000 homes and buildings and has led to the evacuation of some 52,000 people.
