A large M6.2 (M6.4) earthquake has struck Central Italy directly inside of the middle of the warned zone.

Multiple people are now reported injured, and up to 4 deaths have unfortunately occurred. Clearly the country did NOT get the warning that was issued 2 days before.

Italy had a 2 day warning in this spot for a larger earthquake to strike. We were watching for up to M5.0, and an M6.0 plus multiple M5.0 struck the location in question.

See the warning issued for Italy 2 days prior in the European earthquake forecast portion of my video here:

I’d be happy to meet behind closed doors to show Italian scientists (or any others) / Geologists / Seismologists the methodology behind the process of forecasting Earthquakes.

I will do this at the request of any professional who wants to learn how to perform basic seismic forecasting, how to determine areas to watch, how to determine time frame, and how magnitudes are determined.

Earthquake Monitoring Links below!

This stream is showing the past 48 hours of USGS reported earthquakes + the last 50 EMSC reported earthquakes internationally.

No voice in this video unless a large earthquake strikes.

Marker height off the globe = depth into the Earth.

The feed may show double earthquakes in some locations due to both USGS + EMSC agencies reporting the events.

When an earthquake strikes, you will hear a rumble, ding, and a bell toll. The bell will toll the number of times = to the earthquake which occurs. (example : M4.0 will ring 4 times).

The most recent earthquake has a green placemark / flag on it.
